The drop-out fuse can also be made into a one-time heavy-duty switch, which has two sets of fuse tubes. Normally, only one set of fuse tube is connected. When it fuse and fall, the interval is the same (about 0.3~0.5s), and the other set is automatically reclosed by the automatic resetting mechanism. For small-capacity 35kV transformers, the use of drop-out fuse protection, namely Rw535 type, is also used to replace the old product _Rwl35 type high voltage circuit breaker. It is similar to the 10kV drop-out fuse, except that the fuse tube is longer. The overall size is larger (the two static contacts are fixed by two support insulators).
This fuse consists of a fixed bracket and a movable fuse tube. The fuse tube (melt tube) is made of resin-layer rolled cardboard, with asbestos lined in the middle. The two ends of the baking wire are crimped with a piece of braided copper stranded wire for connection. It passes through the fuse tube and is fixed on the moving contacts at the upper and lower ends with screws. The movable upper contact is tightened and fixed by the fuse, and is fixed by the upper static. The protruding support in the "duckbill" on the contact is stuck and blown.
Outdoor drop-out high-voltage fuses 35kV and below outdoor high-voltage fuses are mainly drop-out high-voltage fuses. Mainly used to protect transmission lines and distribution transformers.
When the circuit trips, just use the insulating rod to push the fuse tube up one by one. That is, the no-load circuit is connected. Therefore, the drop-out fuse is widely used in the power distribution system.
The fuse is in the "path" position. When the fuse is melted, an arc is generated in the fuse tube. The inner wall of the baking tube produces a large amount of gas under the action of the arc, and the gas is sprayed out from the high connection, resulting in a strong de-ionization effect, and the arc is extinguished when the current is over. At the same time, after the fuse is blown, the upper contact on the fuse tube loosens, and it slips from the "duckbill" of the upper static contact due to the weight of the fuse tube, and quickly falls off.
The fuse of this fuse is blown after the fuse. Automatic drop, on the one hand, it is used as a fuse mark, on the other hand, it creates an obvious front disconnection distance, which plays the role of f isolation switch.
