Inspection items that should be carried out when the arrester manufacturer accepts

The acceptance of lightning arresters is mainly for ordinary valve type, magnetic blow type arresters and metal oxide arresters. During the acceptance of the arrester, the operating personnel shall perform the following inspections:

(1) The transfer of relevant data of the surge arrester manufacturer, mainly including the surge arrester manufacturer's manual, the lightning arrester test qualification report and other materials.

(2) The arrester dispatching number, nameplate and safety identification plate are installed correctly, and the phase sequence is complete and correct, and is consistent with other equipment connections. The sag and swing of the connecting lead of the arrester meet the safety distance requirements, and the lead joint is firm, without loose strands, broken strands, over-looseness, and over-tightening. There are no tools, short-circuit wires and other foreign objects around the arrester and its leads.

(3) The arrester is installed vertically, and its verticality should meet the requirements. The foundation base should be well insulated, and the equipment shell and structure should be well grounded.

(4) The exterior of the arrester should be intact and free of defects, and the seal should be well sealed. The equalizing ring of the arrester should be level and not skewed.

(5) The porcelain parts of the arrester should be free from cracks or damage. The adhesion between the porcelain sleeve and the flange should be firm, and the flange drain hole should be unobstructed. The umbrella group of silicone rubber composite insulation jacket should not be damaged or deformed.

(6) The arresters of 35kV and above should be installed with discharge counters in phases. The installation position of the European-style cable connector discharge counter should be consistent and easy to observe. The discharge counter is well-sealed, reliable in action, and reliable in grounding. The discharge counter should be restored to zero before installation.

(7) The rupture disk of the magnetic blow valve arrester should be free of damage and cracks; the metal oxide rupture disk and safety devices should be intact and undamaged.

(8) The tension insulator of the valve arrester should be tight and reliable, and the force should be even; the exhaust channel of the metal oxide arrester should be unblocked.
