Inspection items that should be carried out during acceptance inspection by lightning arrester manufacturers
The arrester acceptance is mainly for ordinary valve type, magnetically blown arresters and metal oxide arresters. Operators should conduct the following inspections when accepting arresters:
(1) Transfer of relevant information from the arrester manufacturer, mainly including the arrester manufacturer's instructions, arrester test qualification report and other information.
(2) The arrester dispatch number, nameplate and safety identification plate are installed correctly, the phase sequence is complete and correct, and the connections with other equipment are consistent. The sag and swing of the lightning arrester connection leads meet the safety distance requirements. The lead joints are firm and there are no loose or broken strands, too loose or too tight. There are no foreign objects such as tools or short-circuit wires left around the arrester and its leads.
(3) The arrester is installed vertically, and its verticality should meet the requirements. The foundation base should be well insulated, and the equipment enclosure and structure should be well grounded.
(4) The exterior of the arrester should be intact and without defects, and the seal should be well sealed. The voltage equalizing ring of the arrester should be horizontal and not skewed.
(5) The porcelain parts of the lightning arrester should be free of cracks and damage. The bonding between the porcelain sleeve and the flange should be firm, and the flange drain hole should be unobstructed. The silicone rubber composite insulation jacket umbrella group should not be damaged or deformed.
(6) Arresters of 35kV and above should be installed with discharge counters in separate phases. The installation position of European cable joint discharge counters should be consistent and easy to observe. The discharge counter must be well sealed, operate reliably, and be grounded reliably. The discharge counter should be restored to zero before installation.
(7) The explosion-proof discs of magnetic blow-valve arresters should be free from damage and cracks; the explosion-proof discs and safety devices of metal oxides should be intact.
(8) The tensioning insulator of the valve arrester should be fastened reliably and the force should be uniform; the exhaust channel of the metal oxide arrester should be smooth.
