High voltage cable grounding box series products
When a single-core high-voltage cable is running, the current passing through the conductive core of the cable will generate an induced voltage on the metal sheath. This voltage increases with the length of the cable and the current flowing through the core. At the same time, when the cable line is asymmetrical, a short-circuit fault occurs in the line, the line is subjected to operating overvoltage or lightning overvoltage. A high induced potential will be formed on the metal sheath of the cable, causing insulation breakdown of the outer sheath of the cable. Therefore, the metal sheath of the cable must use a special grounding box according to the design requirements and install it in different grounding and connection methods to prevent the insulation of the outer sheath of the cable from being broken down and affecting the normal operation of the cable line.
