3. The grounding down conductor of the arrester should be firmly and reliably connected.
4. Copper, stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized nuts should be used instead of iron nuts to avoid being unable to disassemble after being rusted.
5. During disassembly and transportation, be careful and handle with care to avoid crushing and collision, which may cause damage to the arrester body and components.
6. When storing the arrester, it should be stored in a dry and ventilated place, avoid being stored together with corrosive chemicals, and prevent damage to the silicone rubber insulation jacket. At the same time, stacking should avoid deforming the device body.
In addition, with the use of vacuum circuit breakers in the power grid, zinc oxide arresters should not be taken out of operation during non-lightning seasons to prevent system overvoltage from causing damage to equipment.
